We serve the community of East Durham, students of all ages, those who left school at 14 to university graduates, in or out of work, self employed or retired. We are here to assist you. What you will find is a friendly, relaxed atmosphere with expert tutors who go out of their way to make learning easy and fun. Free crèche places for pre-school children are offered on most daytime sessions. Interested? Come along to our enrollment sessions. Look out for details of dates and times. Basic Computing 12 week introduction to word processing, database & spreadsheets and leads onto RSA 1. RSA 1 computer literacy and information technology 24 week accredited course. RSA 2 integrated business technology 36 week accredited advanced course. G.C.S.E English, Maths, Languages - 1 year- aimed at adults. Access 1 year courses leading to higher education & include English language, English Literature, Politics, Maths, History, Biology, Sociology, and Psychology. Pre- G.C.S.E. / basic Help with any aspect of Maths/English -free City and guilds basic counseling 1 year introductory course. Other accredited courses Dyslexia awareness, Feng Shui, Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Basic and intermediate Food Hygiene, Hair and Beauty, Egyptian dance, Indian head massage, Photography, Office Skills, Media Studies, First Aid, Learning through play, History, German, Italian, Foundation studies in exercise, Sage Accounts, Dressmaking, Shorthand, British Sign Language, Yoga, Keep Fit, the list goes on and on.
